Reiki is an Ancient Energy Healing Technique that can promote Wellness and Healing Mind Body & Spirit.

Ginger is a trained and certified Reiki 2 Practitioner, and has practiced Reiki, along with other forms of energy healing and holistic healing modalities, such as crystal healing, intuitive healing, and Ayurvedic Healing Practices. 

Ginger infuses Reiki throughout GEMSpa to provide a deeper level of relaxation and healing. Ginger also uses a number of energy clearing and balancing techniques to promote a high vibrational and peaceful environment for her clients.

Ginger’s “If not now then Zen?” Reiki Treatment is a form of Energy Healing Bodywork. Energy healing is a holistic practice that activates the body’s subtle energy systems also known as Chakras to remove blocks. “Cleansing” these Chakras can stimulate your body’s inherent ability to heal itself. The GEM Reiki session also includes Neck and Shoulder Massage, Scalp Massage, and Oracle Card reading.

This is Ginger’s Premium VIP Facial Experience, and includes everything in the GEM Radiance Facial PLUS Reiki Healing Throughout the Facial, Crystal Therapy, additional Aromatherapy, and Ayurvedic Techniques. As part of your treatment, Ginger will provide you with a custom made essential oil roller, so that you can continue your self-care after your Facial is complete. Reiki Basics

A non-physical energy that gives life to every living organism. For thousands of years we have sought ways to harness this energy in an effort to control and direct its flow in and around our bodies. Acupuncture, Feng Shui, Meditation, Tai Chi, and Yoga are among the disciplines that have been developed and used to harness this energy, with much success. And just like those ancient practices, Reiki is a form of hands-on healing that dates back thousands of years to its origins in India and the East. It is another method that allows the practitioner to access this pure energy and allow it to flow through them and heal themselves and others. The original name and techniques were lost due to the traditional method of passing down knowledge by word of mouth. Thankfully, it was re-discovered by a Japanese monk and scholar named Dr. Mikao Usui who called the technique “Reiki,” meaning “Universal Life Force.” Clearing energy blockages and encouraging this life-giving energy to flow unencumbered throughout the body is the goal of every Reiki treatment. This holistic modality works on the body, mind, and spirit to stimulate the body’s own natural healing abilities. By allowing the universal life force to flow through their body, the Reiki practitioner acts as a conduit as they direct this energy into their client via specific hand placements. Becoming a practitioner is typically done over the course of several weekends, with time in-between to practice and become familiarized with the lessons. However, you can implement the principles of Reiki into your life immediately and by doing so, you can change your outlook and your life.

The Five Principles of Reiki

There are five Reiki principles that you can remember and reflect on to add balance and perspective to their lives. No one is expected to adhere to them as rules. They are spiritual guidelines that enable you to work on yourself each day, without any added pressure or guilt. They are to be interpreted as a means to improve your outlook and actions, and, if you fall short, you can simply try again tomorrow.

Principle 1

Just for today, I will not worry.

Worry causes stress and anxiety which leads to an imbalance of the mind, body and spirit. Alleviate your stress by trying to view each obstacle in your life as an opportunity and approach all situations with a positive attitude.

Principle 2

Just for today I will not be angry.

To practice this principle, you need to understand what triggers your anger and how you can regain control of your emotions. When you become angry, the person or situation then has complete control over you. Once you learn to respond in a positive manner, you will never again allow anything to take your power. Approach each person or situation with compassion and try to understand what is occurring below the surface. Do not dwell on negative thoughts, and surround yourself with those whom have positive outlooks.

Principle 3

Just for today I will do my work honestly.

Approach your work with the intention of performing your job to the best of your abilities, and with the goal of sharing all of your beneficial talents with those you interact with. Don’t hold anything back, because to do so would be to cheat others. It would also be cheating yourself by denying that you possess your helpful gifts.

Principle 4

Just for today I will give thanks for my many blessings.

Pause for a moment on a regular basis and acknowledge and appreciate the many blessings in your life. If you take the time to keep a list of your many blessings, you will undoubtedly be amazed at how many wonderful things there are to give thanks for. Don’t just count the fleeting materialistic things. Focus on the things that money cannot buy.

Principle 5

Just for today I will be kind to my neighbor and every living thing.

What we give, we receive, according to Karmic law. When we think positive thoughts, we bring more things to feel positive about into our lives. Remember that the same effect happens when we think negative thoughts. Reflecting upon these principles and striving to live within their framework is certain to effect positive change in all areas of your life.

Crystal Facial Grid

  • Rose quartz on your chin
  • Aquamarine on either side of your cheek bones
  • Lepidolite on your third eye (in the center and just above your eyebrows)
  • Another rose quartz above lepidolite, in the middle of your forehead

Lay with your crystal facial grid in place for at least 5-10 minutes, focusing on self-love and having confidence in yourself. Beauty truly shines from the inside out, y’all! Make a conscious effort to relax the muscles in your face as your grid is in place and release any tension. Remove the stones from your face when you’re through, and charge them in the sun for a minimum of 4 hours before using them for any other grid or healing work.
